AMANSALA is one of the leading retreats centers in the world, located just 2 hours south of Cancun, famous for it’s Mayan Ruins, beautiful beaches, hidden cenotes, and lush jungle. It has been described as ROBINSON CRUSE MEETS ECO CHIC and is more like staying at a friend’s beach house than a hotel. Amansala is located on the Riviera Maya… between the pristine blue ocean and the emerald green tropical forests and jungles, it is nature in all of its splendor. Think of paradise in these terms: laying in a hammock under the shade of a palm tree, gazing upon beautiful white beaches, sipping a cool drink by the pool, and enjoying the warm but refreshing breeze caressing your skin.

Come Home to Yourself & Your Practice

Yoga every morning and evening, from gentle wake-up flows to more invigorating and strength-building practices, we will also be meditating, journaling, breathing, and sounding/toning throughout our time together. Come home to your most authentic and radiant self.

Our journey together will include a sound healing with local musicians and healers, bike tour to local Mayan ruins, a ceremonial Temazcal (steam bath) for detoxification and purification and daily practices in yoga, breath, and toning with Carrie Arlah.

Join in a mid-afternoon salsa class to invigorate and refresh or book a spa session for some extra TLC.

Your Guide Carrie Arlah

Co-owner of Breath+Oneness in Capitola, CA, Carrie has been leading individuals and groups in movement, meditation, personal growth, healing, spirituality, sounding/toning, and more for over 15 years. She has also written three books: Coming Home to Self, The Freedom Path, and The Great Book of Karma. She facilitates and focuses on both personal and communal vitality through powerful tools and transformative practices.

Delicious Food + Sample Menu

Creative menus are made with love and local chemical free produce, fresh caught grilled fish, seasonal fruit, and delicious salads leaving you feeling satisfied and light. Vegetarian and other special dietary needs can be perfectly accommodated.

Breakfast: Fresh fruit, granola and yogurt, or vegan yogurt made with (soaked chia seeds in coconut milk w dried coconut and a touch of agave)

Brunch: A variety of delicious salads, gluten free muffins, stone ground tortillas, different style of egg daily

Snack: Popular Mexican favorites, nachos, quesadillas, and guacamole always with a side of fresh fruit

Dinner -Starter: Seasoned fresh jicama, carrot and cucumberSoup: Curried squash soupMain Course: Grilled fish topped with a pineapple chutney served w/quinoa w mixed veggies with a jicama, mint salad
