TLC-RETREATS: BALI

A Rejuvenating Ayurveda, Kundalini and Meditation Retreat

Our lives in 2020 are full of task lists, meetings, things-to-do, things to learn all to get us ahead while holding our wellness behind. Even in our time off we are “on,” multitasking instead giving ourselves the permission to relax and retreat from the noise of our world. Science shows that only 2% of the population are effective multi-taskers and I’m sure 98% of you think you are the 2% 😂.

Come join us this April 4-14th as we dive deep into self-care and rejuvenation with Ayurveda, Yoga, Kundalini, meditation and Bhakti Yoga in Bali.

WHAT IS TLC BALI?

An opportunity to deeply relax. To experience an overhaul of your nervous system through time-tested meditation and yoga practices. The space and time to experience your own true nature. No filters. No distractions. Harmony and hearing your still small voice.

Ayurvedic lifestyle and techniques made simple, so you can go home and keep the TLC as part of your life. Not just some nice thing you did on retreat once upon a time. It’s the chance to open your eyes to a new culture, a different way of life, of possibilities you maybe never considered. It’s adventure, exploration and relaxation.

It’s morning meditations on the beach, yoga practices overlooking the ocean and vibrant meals lovingly prepared by local chefs. Evenings meditations as the sun sets, heart warming kirtans into the night or chillax. Participate in as many activities as you like, lounge by the pool or on the beach, or explore the local villages and cities on motorbikes.

NATURE

The first balm we will be rejuvenating with is nature. Natures expanse and colors are settling and inspiring. By the magnanimty of her vastness seen in the diversity in terrains, colors, smells and vibrational frequency, our minds find peace. Our frequency calms down from the electric city lives to the healing deep inspiring bellows of nature. Lower mortality and fewer stress hormones circulating in the blood have also been connected to living close to green space.

AYURVEDA

Ayurveda, the science of life, is the foremost living health and wellness body of wisdom, a complete holistic approach to wellness, emphasizing prevention over cure. Ayurveda takes into account all aspects of living, offering dynamic balance for the body, mind, emotions and environment. Each day we will explore the Lifestyle practices of Ayurveda such as uncovering your unique blueprint (dosha), food empowerment, aligning to the seasons, the mind, self-empowerment, and how to incorporate these TLCs into your daily life providing nourishment, happiness and connectedness.

KUNDALINI YOGA AND ASANA

Our last daily practice will be yoga asana and Kundalini Yoga. We will practice a series of breathing Kriyas (exercises), physical postures, chanting and meditation to unlock this energy. These practices help reset the nervous system, increase flexibility, expand lung capacity, create a strong core, and alleviate stress. Not only is it well known to reset subsconscious patterns, it is designed to raise complete body awareness to prepare the body, nervous system, and mind to handle the energy of Kundalini rising.

RETREAT TEACHERS

ALEXANDRA MOGA

Alexandra’s yoga journey began in her childhood, when during summer breaks in Romania she would meditate alongside her aunt who taught her practices in forgiveness, focused breathing, and energetic visualization. In her teens she took her first yoga asana class and was hooked–finding the practice perfectly suited her passion for movement and dedication to spirituality. After four years of university in Paris, she returned to New York City where she immersed herself in the yogic path with over 1,000 hours of training and teaching various communities since 2010. She is deeply grateful to share the teachings and lifestyle of Bhakti yoga, a path which she believes offers invaluable remedies for the dis-eases of modern life and bows to the many teachers who have guided her ever-closer to understanding yoga, the divine, and how to be of service; namely: her mother, her aunt, Raghunath, Dhanurdhara Swami, His Holiness Radhanath Swami, and His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

VASU DUDAKIA

Since birth, Vasu was raised in the foundational principles of Bhakti yoga through the teachings of HH A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. In his late 20’s, Vasu’s spiritual practice coalesced with his interests in mind-body wellness paving the path towards Ayurveda. In 2011, Vasu began practicing Ayurveda and Marma therapy under the guidance of Dr. Madhusudan Ray and earned a degree as an Ayurvedic Practitioner under the guidance of Dr. Paul Dugliss. As the Founder of Veda Holistic Health, Vasu’s work integrates the science of Ayurveda and Marma therapy to address the challenges of modern living including personalized nutrition, mindful de-stressors and other therapeutic lifestyle choices (TLC). Vasu enjoys traveling around the US and overseas giving inspirational talks in Ayurveda, leading modules in yoga teacher trainings, sharing the sacred heart path of Bhakti yoga kirtan and leading transformational retreats.
