The concept of Forgiveness is a core theme of A Course in Miracles book and examined there in great detail. It’s a concept that’s far more complex than usually thought.
In this talk, we’ll examine the many aspects of Forgiveness, including:
- False forgiveness – called Forgiveness to Destroy
- Lessons from the story of the Prodigal Son
- How to achieve Forgiveness for Salvation
- Overcoming fear
- Specific ways to practice Forgiveness in everyday living, and
- Forgiveness as reveled in NDEs (near-death experiences).
We will also examine the 40-Day Forgiveness Prayer.
Attendees are encouraged to take notes, and the information will be given in a highly organized manner geared toward note-taking.
Please note: This event will be recorded, and the recording shared with all event registrants. If you interact in the workshop while it’s being recorded (via questions or comments), your voice, your video feed if you choose to turn it on, and your profile name and profile photo, if available, may end up being a part of the recording. You can adjust in your Zoom account’s settings (prior to joining the event) the information you want to have visible for you, and you have full control over whether your personal video feed is turned on or off at any point during the event and whether you chose to share or interact in any way at the time the event is being recorded. You’ll also be able to ask questions via chat but note that we may decide to include the contents of the chat into the recording, so be mindful of how personal the information you share in the chat is and whether you’re using your full name to share it. For more info on Zoom meetings, please see the Zoom website.
