Reiki and Drum Circle Gathering

Join us on Wednesday March 27th, 7pm-9pm for an evening of Reiki Healing and Drumming. The evening begins with group reiki healing, gentle guided meditation and soft vocal toning of Bija mantras (seed sounds) to help rebalance and harmonize your charkas and auric fields. To conclude the session, the group will reinvigorate our spirits through the power of rhythmic drumming and improvised percussion. No experience is needed for Reiki or Drumming – all you need is an open mind and heart. All instruments will be provided (various drums and percussions). This evening is facilitated by Laura Cerrano, Certified Usui Feng Shui Reiki Master and Todd Rogers, Certified Music Improvisation Facilitator, Music for People founders of the Connected Drum Circle”

Laura Cerrano is a Certified Feng Shui and Reiki Master. She began training alongside her mother and mentor, Feng Shui Master Carole Provenzale in 1997. During that same year, their family owned and operated consulting firm, Feng Shui Manhattan, Inc was established. Since that time, a variety of complementary healing modalities have been integrated into the overall healing practice to provide a hub of wholistic resources that include Reiki, Meditation, Sound Healing, Geopathic Stress Dowsing and Healing Drum Circle Gatherings. Laura’s offices are based out of New York and California. She has been featured in HGTV Property Brothers, Oprah Magazine, PBS and the New York Times.

Todd Rogers is dedicated to supporting others in finding and expressing their inner music. His style is gentle yet dynamic creating a safe space where participants are supported to push their musical edges. He is a graduate of Music for People’s Musicianship and Leadership Program, where he studied with Grammy-winning cellist, David Darling. Todd’s background includes extensive group facilitation work suchas ropes course and group initiative experiences and wilderness leadership. A trained violinist, Todd lives in Brooklyn, NY and performs with various groups spanning genres from improvised experimental to folk and blues. He is a founder of Throughline, an instrumental project performing original string-driven blues fused with Bohemian grooves.
