OCTOBER: NEW MOON IN LIBRA
This is a space to convene and honor the darkest phase of the moon to both release and re-imagine what you want to call into your life. We will start with a few warm-ups, then sink into 2-3 meditations to harness Libra energy. Set up a cozy corner with blankets, pillows, tea, candles, flowers, crystals, tarot or oracle cards – all your magic.
These events are held monthly. Each convening will include an element of sharing, a monthly theme, gentle movement, and a specific meditation (taken from the Kundalini Yoga tradition). Participants can choose to join virtually in real time or watch the recording at your own convenience.
This month we will convene via Zoom on Friday, October 16th 7:30-9pm (CST).
Sliding Scale: $15 / $25 / $35
What are Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini Yoga is known as the “Yoga of Experience.” In each class we move through a set of movement and meditation. The movement is called a “kriya” and works like a recipe that has a specific effect on the body – physically and energetically. The system of pressure and release supports the nervous system to reset and regulate and the glandular system to balance. To Elizabeth, each class feels like brushing your teeth but for your brain. This practice is understood best by experiencing it. Come try it out!
