Earth Body: A Reiki Workshop & Collective

Reiki practitioners, how can we be of service together in this time of great collective change and destabilization? Especially to our mother earth and the lands we occupy, the lands that hold the bones of our ancestors, and the rivers of the waters that connect us all?

This question has been sitting with us during this turbulent year. Birthed from a bi-monthly reiki practice group guided by Dra. Ana Luna, we invite you to a four week workshop and reset for attuned reiki practitioners. This workhop will flow into a reiki collective that will meet bi-monthly on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month beginning December 8th. From those newly attuned to masters with miles under their belt, this is an invitation to come back to your personal practice and expand into earth gridwork in a group container guided by ethical practice, consent, permission, and intention. For those in the northern hemisphere, we offer you a communal space to recenter in your practice and offer your light during the dark days of this yin portion of the year.

By the end of our time together, we hope you will feel re-ignited not just in your reiki practice but in your own spirit as a creator of life and earth stewardship.

Dra. Ana Luna is a wellness practitioner with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology (2014) and a Holy Fire Karuna ®Reiki Master Teacher (2012). She is currently the Founder & President of Luna y Sol Sanctuary (501c3), a nonprofit designed to provide holistic healing services to underserved communities. As a Xicana with Indigenous Chichimeca/Purépecha heritage, she devotes much of her time to working on land back and food sovereignty movements alongside Indigenous tribal communities that are returning to their role as original stewards of the land. She has undergone rites of passage in the Red Road tradition and carries the chanupa. She has also received the Munay Ki rites of the Q’ero traditions of the Andes. Her path with reiki, plant medicines, and her mentors nourishes her commitment to living a life of ceremony, prayer and deep communion with the natural elements in relation with the 4 sacred directions. Samantha is a practicing astrologer and ceremonialist providing personal and group offerings for deeper self-inquiry and earth-focused community healing. She began her journey with divinatory praxis at age 15 and has been studying Hellenistic and Modern Astrology since 2015. She is a Reiki master with attunements from her teachers at Santa Monica College and Minka Brooklyn (Her first attunements being with Dr. Ana in 2018!). She is a student and observer of the sacred Mayan Chol’qij count and I’xCacao under the guidance and initiation of Mayan wisdom keepers Tata Izaias and Nana Izabel of San Marcos La Laguna, Guatemala in 2022.
