Conscious Trance™ with Bre Jenkins

about this event

In a session, participants enter a trance state that occurs when oscillating between electricity and magnetism in a way that mimics our natural circadian rhythm. Polyphonic sound and live instruments are used to support the activation of specific brainwave patterns that stimulate a waking dream-like state of lucid consciousness.

The Conscious Trance™ was remembered by Pi Villaraza in 2008. However, Indigenous peoples have been working with these states for millennia in a wide variety of methods but more commonly recognized through their practices of shamanic trance using chanting or drumming. The foundations of this practice are informed by Hermeticism, Indigenous traditions, Hinduism, Quantum Physics, Neuroscience, Psychology, and more.

This practice activates your body’s innate ability to heal itself. It is an intuitive and organic state of expanded consciousness that acts as a gateway or portal toward wholeness and a deeper understanding of who and what we are. During the session, spontaneous movements can arise. Some consider it a cathartic experience or something that gives them deep insights or realizations but these physical manifestations are an effect rather than the goal of this practice.
