Community Acupuncture for Birth Workers & Activists – Facilitated by ORA

about this event

Join us at the Soft Space by Mama Glow for a grounding, restorative and healing space for community. Prepare to recieve energy through the ancient healing art of acupuncture.

Acupuncture is part of the ancient practice of Traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine practitioners believe the human body has more than 2,000 acupuncture points connected by pathways or meridians. These pathways create an energy flow (Qi, pronounced “chee”) through the body that is responsible for overall health.

This treatment is designed to help you relax, boost immunity, and strengthen your Qi so you can quickly get back to your day. This community offering is targeted toward birth workers, caregivers, activists and others who dedicate their time and energy in service of others. This is an opportunity for self-service, for you to fill up your cup. The experience is a 3-hour drop in session where you can come in for any length of time to relax in the space, experience hands-on support and acupuncture to suit your needs.

ORA was founded on the principles of Healing, Inclusion, and Education. ORA is proud to work with impactful organizations that share their dedication to taking care of themselves and the communities around them. ORA offers a healing escape from the everyday, every day; bringing traditional techniques of ancient Chinese medicine into a modern, convenient experience.
