A Candlelight Prayer for Peace

about this event

Overview:

Join us in Santa Monica, CA, for a serene candlelight gathering devoted to peace, presence, and collective intention.

In a time when the world often feels heavy, this evening invites us to pause, breathe, and remember the light that lives within each of us. Through guided breathwork, meditation, and quiet reflection, we create space to calm the nervous system, soften the heart, and cultivate compassion for ourselves and the world around us.

Together, we gather in candlelight to offer a collective prayer for peace, beginning within and extending outward. This intimate experience is designed to restore inner calm while strengthening the shared field of love, kindness, and unity.

This gathering will be held in person in Los Angeles, California, and also shared live via The Love Tower’s Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/thelovetower). Experience:

7:00 pm – Doors Open

7:10 pmOpening Grounding & Reflection

We begin the evening by arriving together in presence. Through a brief introduction and grounding reflection, we gently settle the mind and body while establishing a shared intention for the gathering.

In moments of uncertainty, the most powerful act can be returning to our inner light. This opening reflection invites participants to reconnect with the quiet strength, compassion, and wisdom that live within the heart.

7:20 pm – Settling the Body & Breath

We then move into a guided breathwork experience designed to calm the nervous system and bring awareness into the body. Through gentle breathing patterns and grounding guidance, participants are invited to release tension, restore balance, and reconnect with their natural rhythm of breath. This portion of the experience lasts approximately 40 minutes and supports deep relaxation, emotional clarity, and embodied presence.

8:00 pm – Music-Enhanced Heart Meditation

Following breathwork, participants will be guided into a heart-centered meditation accompanied by classical music.

This practice focuses on cultivating love and compassion for ourselves and others. The meditation concludes with a merit dedication, offering the benefits of our practice as a prayer for peace for all beings. Approximately 15 minutes.

Guided by: Jamar Spicer is a former Buddhist monk, certified Energy Healer, and meditation practitioner. He has over 20 years of dedicated meditation practice, having studied with renowned meditation masters, and more than a decade of experience in Energy Healing, working with natural energy to support healing, awareness, and personal growth.

8:15 pm – Collective Prayer for Peace

As part of the evening, participants will be invited to sign and offer a blessing on a Prayer for Peace banner. This banner will serve as a collective symbol of our shared intention — a reminder that peace begins within each of us and grows stronger when held together in community.

Guided by: Ashley Frey is a co-architect of sacred retreats, meditation events, and love-centered festivals devoted to awakening collective consciousness. Rooted in a disciplined meditation and yoga practice, she leads with devotion, vision, and intentional design. 8:30 pm Closing Reflection & Integration

We close the evening with a short period of quiet reflection, allowing the experience to settle and integrate. Participants are invited to carry the intention of peace, compassion, and love into their daily lives, remembering that small shifts within ourselves ripple outward into the world.
