Dun Well has been serving vegan doughnuts since 2011 from East Williamsburg (their beloved St Marks location closed due to high rent).
The doughnuts are meticulously handcrafted every day from ingredients sourced from other local businesses. Their Fair Trade, Organic, and Rainforest Alliance certified coffees are from Brooklyn Roasting Company, and are also locally roasted daily.
Dun Well caters to a range of dietary restrictions, even Jedi. This Yoda-shaped donut raised money for charity and probably tasted cosmic too, but I didn’t try it. I can recommend the pistachio glazed donut, which is a nice combinations of textures, sweetness and the perfect amount of salt.
