THE DEEPENING – An Early Spring Immersion

about this event

We sit within a conundrum of seasonality, as the Earth, amid in between, reflected upon inner and outer landscapes. A wondering: can we just be? As we are. As it is. Spaciously. No need to rush, to hurry, to worry. Here. Here. Here. Now. Now. Now. Drop in. Drop in. Drop in. In body. In breath. Intently. Listening. Listening. Listening. Honoring. One more heart beat. One more breath. Vital depths, before a slow unfurling.

Join Vibrational Designer Sarah Rigano of FORM + LIGHT (@formandlight) in co-creation with Hamptons-based, guest “In Resonance” Yoga and Radiant Living Teacher Erika Halweil (@erikahalweil), upon the lands of SkyRise Farm (@skyrisefarm), for “THE DEEPENING,” an immersive morning practice honoring the liminality of early Spring.

We will begin our time together upon the land- grounding, acknowledging and resourcing from depths of feeling and belief as guided by Sarah and supported by rising, Equinox Earth energies through a meditative journey, energy clearing and elemental blessing.

From this space we will move into the Haymow Studio seasonally set for Erika’s practice of gentle, grounding movement and embodied breath. This offering, designed to create time and space for presence- descending from the mind, into the heart, consciously anchoring this frequency deep into the Earth.

Our collective intention: to come together as a community of care, slow and tender, embodied and present, aligned in an embrace of exactly what is as enough, and naming enough as the most powerful thing.

This is an intimate, pre-ticketed group journey to allow for absolute connection and presence amonst practitioners and guests. Thus, as we are deeply aware of the present economic environment and the myriad of monetary realities faced by our diverse community, one opening is available for the program for an individual called to this work, but perhaps unable to accommodate the financial exchange asked at this time. Please reach out to Sarah directly for confidential consideration srigano@gmail.com

ABOUT ERIKA HALWEIL

Erika Halweil has been practicing yoga since 1993. After exploring several styles of asana, she was led to Ashtanga Yoga. Immediately captivated by this extraordinarily supportive, cleansing and clarifying practice, she integrated its system and sequencing into her teachings. Her experiential understanding of yoga and her vast knowledge and multi-disciplinary studies of the human body, breath and mind, including nutrition (with a degree from NYU), anatomy and physiology, Ayurveda and Reflexology allows for her classes, immersions and retreats to be beautiful blends of the wisdom she has gathered over the past 28 years.

Erika hopes to encourage everyone to commit to making some aspect of yoga practice an integral and lasting part of their daily life. She believes that these ancient techniques reveal our true nature of pure, absolute awareness, spaciousness and bliss. She feels yoga offers a continuous opportunity to be reminded of, and connected to, our Divine essence – allowing us to take action in the world from a place of profound presence and deep inner knowing.
