The Psychedelic Liberation Training Program is a 10-week course hoisted by The Ancestor Project, created to provide a safe space for attendees to develop a personal ethical code and commit to the process of becoming an agent of collective liberation in the psychedelic space as a form of Sacred Activism.
Designed to provide a context for intersectional social justice work within the psychedelic space, the training program will delve into how clinicians, facilitators, and space holders can use a Sacred Earth Medicine practice to uncover, and heal subconscious biases. Collaborating with speakers ranging from shamanic healers to psychotherapists and community organizers, the certificate program will provide attendees with practical tips on integrating anti-oppression work into Sacred Earth Medicine journeys, and into their everyday lives.
The training program will provide a working framework on the intersections of social justice, drug policy, and psychedelics and will explore how to decolonize the self and how to use a ceremonial space in pursuit of collective liberation. Speakers and facilitators will include clinical researcher and therapist Sara Reed, Angela Carter, and Victor Cabral, among others. The program will provide the tools to confront personal identity based biases through intentional journey work and integration exercises for communal liberation. Included in the 10-week course will be a live weekly 2 hour class and resources for continued study including weekly readings, a downloadable course workbook, and lifetime access to the recorded workshops created during the program. Other topics covered will include considerations for working with BIPOC, LGBTQIA and neurodivergent communities as well as individuals with disabilities and the challenges and solutions around psychedelic access for all.
