Rebirthing Immersion ~ March Crescent Moon

about this event

On Sunday May 28th at 6pm, for the May Crescent Moon, we’ll come together for another exploratory Rebirthing evening of Breathwork, Aquatic Healingwork (an introduction to Watsu & Waterdance) & Sound Healing.

Breathwork is a form of therapy that uses conscious breathing techniques to improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being. One of the most popular forms of breathwork is Holotropic breathwork, a powerful technique that can help individuals access deep states of consciousness and healing.

Breath is essential to life, not only to be able to sustain our physical bodies but it can also be used intentionally as an emotional cleansing tool and as a spiritual gateway into expanded states of consciousness.

The word ‘breath’ and ‘spirit’ share the same origin in many languages. Breath-centered practices and meditations can be found in many ancient cultures and religions including Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Christianity, Yoga, Qigong, Shamanism, Sufism, martial arts, etc. Many of these cultures and religions used breathing techniques for similar reasons as modern breathwork – to alter consciousness for spiritual purposes, self-discovery, and healing.

During our Djed lead Breathwork session we’ll be incorporating elements from Holotropic breathwork, Quantum Light Breath, Pranayama & Rebirthing. We’ll be using a gentle hypnotic circular breath technique where our inhalations and exhalations are continuous with no spaces or retention in between. This technique is useful for both beginners and experienced individuals in breathwork alike and it will create an emotionally cleansing experience, bringing aliveness back into our beings and preparing the ground for our Aquatic Rebirthing Immersion later in the evening.

The evening will be followed by Aquatic Healingwork (Watsu, Waterdance, Healing Dance) allowing us to dive deep and rise high into an exploratory rebirthing experience, awakening us into our true Soul and aligning us with our True purpose. We’ll land the evening with a Crystal Sound Bath and group snuggles.

As usual, amazing music is an integral part of our events and these Rebirthing sessions are not different. We’ll create an embracing cradle of Djed sonic bliss.

What is Aquatic Rebirthing (an introduction to Aquatic Healingwork & Watsu)?

In this session we’ll explore being floated weightless in body temperature water with the instructions and supervision of a trained Aquatic Therapist, with the intention of achieving profound levels of relaxation in the person receiving it. We’ll divide our group into couples where the receiver is continuously supported while being back-floated, rhythmically cradled, moved, stretched, and massaged.

This is a deeply nurturing, safe and healing modality which resembles our familiar and intimate experience of being held as an infant, floating weightless, in the total safety of our mother’s womb. The end result of this experience is the feeling of total liberation and Bliss. You can learn more about Watsu and Aquatic Healingwork at www.watsumiami.com.

Food Recommendations prior to your arrival:

Emotions are sometimes difficult to bear and sometimes the way we cope with them is by overeating.

We recommended to avoid eating heavy meals or consuming alcohol a day before your breathwork session, as these can affect your session and may make it more difficult to achieve the desired state of consciousness.

It’s best to have a light meal or snack a few hours (at least 2 hrs) before the session, and to stay well-hydrated by drinking water.

We also recommend staying away from sugars a processed foods during the day as they can increase your blood sugar and then make you crash. You’ll need energy during your breathwork session and although we in general suggest staying away from caffeine, green tea could be a good alternative if you feel you need a little extra energy.
