Join us on Thursday April 11th at 7pm with resident Astrologer Maya Netzer at our Brooklyn Apothecary, to dive into practices for balance and attunement according to our birth charts.
Astrology is a language that brings coherence and connection between what is happening inside, and what is happening outside. Rituals are windows between these worlds as well – they can guide us back to our bodies, to spirit, to compassion, to community, to a good night’s sleep.
This workshop will focus on rituals that work with different elemental dispositions in our natal charts; invite participants into deeper relationships and practices around certain planets and how their energies relate to our own chart.
This workshop includes:
- How to work with personal planets and their elements
- Discussion and astrological Q&A
- House blended tea
- 15% in store discount on Anima Mundi products
Please bring:
A Journal or notepad and pen
A sacred object
Maya Netzer is a farmer, artist and practicing astrologer with a background in food justice and youth advocacy. She grew up with the rituals of growing and cooking food, and comes from a lineage bridging western mysticism with modern psychology. Her current practice with Tarot and astrology began in 2015 when she worked with a farmer who taught her about planting seeds with the moon. She was teaching farm to table classes at the time, and saw firsthand the way the moon and planets were affecting not only the seeds, but the people and animals around her as well. Her readings focus on developing a connection with this invisible world that moves through us, and using clients birth charts as a resource to understand the unique role and contribution they are here to offer. Maya has completed courses in medical astrology and astro-herbalism, and has been reading for clients and events for over 7 years.
