“To see the cycle as the enemy can set you up for more suffering. But working with and within its rhythmic imperatives can be your foundational path to healing.” This workshop will be an Introduction to Menstrual Cycle Awareness.
TEACHINGS We will discuss how Menstruality encompasses the varying Rites of Passages throughout a women’s life and how having an awareness of these cycles can impact us on both an individual and collective level. We will share visuals, tools, and insights that have the potential to create a greater sense of intimacy with and understanding of our menstrual cycle from physical, psychological and emotional perspectives.
EMBODIMENT In order to support us in embodying the teachings, we will share two Cycle Tracking techniques that can be used beyond the workshop. The first will be a somatic guided meditation practice where we will move through three layers of cycle tracking: physical, psychological/mental, and emotional. We will then share the framework for “Listening Partnerships”.
CLOSING We will come together for integration, questions, and to review resources that can be used for everyday Cycle Tracking.
