Beginning in the spring of 2024, New York State will allow reimbursement for doula services. While doulas cannot yet enroll as Medicaid providers for the statewide benefit, doulas can take steps now to prepare for enrollment as a Medicaid doula services provider. Please join us for the Mama Glow Medicaid Benefit Workshop for Doulas where we will taking you through the process of registering yourself as a practitioner and completing the Medicaid enrollment form, which will set you up to receive Medicaid benefits once the program begins this Spring.
Mama Glow staff and volunteers will be on hand to support you through the enrollment process and assist you in completing your application. This workshop will be held virtually on Zoom.
In this workshop we will explore:
- An Introduction to Doula Services Medicaid Benefit in NY State and Program Requirements
- Apply for a National Provider Identifier (NPI), a program requirement
- How to Properly Complete the Medicaid Enrollment Form
Requirements for the workshop:
- Please have a tablet or desktop ready that will allow you to complete the forms while also on zoom.
Workshop Date: March 7th at 6:00pm – 8:00pm ET, it will be recorded and avialable for a limited time those who have purchased if you cannot attend live.
