Mama Glow Foundation: Community Partner Breakfast – Policy & Pastries

about this event

Community Partner Breakfast: Policy & Pastries

Hosted by the Mama Glow Foundation Summer Fellows

The Mama Glow Foundation Summer Fellows are excited to invite you to Policy & Pastries, a special community breakfast event bringing together advocates, policymakers, and birth workers for a powerful conversation centered on reproductive justice, maternal health policy, and birth equity.

Join us for a morning of community connection, learning, and action as we engage in a thought-provoking panel discussion exploring the policies that shape birthing experiences across our communities. Together, we’ll reflect on the progress being made, the challenges that remain, and how we can collaborate to build a more just and equitable future for birthing people.

Our panel will address critical topics such as:

  • Federal Legislation on reproductive rights and maternal health
  • The Citywide Doula Initiative: its implementation, impact, and what’s next
  • The Future of Maternal Health Policy: what’s at stake and how we can act

This is a space to not only learn from diverse perspectives but also to build relationships and share resources as we work toward collective change. Whether you’re a policymaker, healthcare provider, advocate, or community member, your voice and presence are vital.

Enjoy delicious pastries as we come together in the spirit of advocacy and collaboration.

We look forward to seeing you there!
