We’re honored to share that Mama Glow has been recognized by Fast Company as a World Changing Ideas honoree for our Doula Competency Training Program in collaboration with Aetna®. Come experience our Shared Decision Making Toolkit live and meet like-minded individuals committed to advancing maternal health.
This groundbreaking program equips Aetna® Nurse Care Managers with the tools to better collaborate with doulas—bridging gaps in care, boosting communication, and driving better outcomes for expecting parents.
Through this collaboration, we’ve accomplished the following:
✔️ Trained over 250 Nurse Care Managers across Medicaid and employer-sponsored insurance
✔️ Created a Shared Decision-Making Toolkit to support families and Aetna care teams
✔️ Advanced culturally responsive care in mainstream health systems
✔️ Launched a new Mama Glow site to host the Shared Decision-Making Toolkit
