The MAMA GLOW ACCELERATED DOULA CERTIFICATION SUPPORT SERIES will offer a unique blend of mentoring and certification support discussions and accountability aimed at helping Doula Trainees reach their milestones and meet professional expectations. Meeting bi-weekly (every-other-week) the accelerated certification sessions cover various topics related to doula practice, ethics, communication, and everything else you need to succeed as a professional doula on the path to completing your certification.
This course we will meet twice a month over a span of 3 months with the goal of completing your requirements in that time frame. This frequency will allow us to cover essential topics and provide ample opportunity for interactive sessions and homework groups with accountability partners. Our goal is for the doula trainees to emerge from this accelerated course prepared to submit their paperwork for certification with Mama Glow.
This course will be held virtually via zoom.
- WEEK 1 (Lesson 1 – June 10th) Orientation and Progress Inventory
- WEEK 2 (Lesson 2 – June 24th) Required Reading + Written Reflections
- WEEK 3 (Lesson 3 – July 8th) Client Inventory + Documenting Doula Support for Certification
- WEEK 4 (Lesson 4 – July 22nd) Community Resource List + Doula Business Plan
- WEEK 5 (Lesson 5 – August 5th) Review of Forms to Document Certification Completion
- WEEK 6 (Lesson 6 – August 19th) Compiling Documentation + Preparing for Submission
