The breath is our gateway to the body and the nervous system and is a profound tool to create change and well-being in our lives. The process of consciously altering the breath can help unwind tension patterns and the everyday stressors of life, release energetic blocks in the body, and bring us into deeper connection with our bodies and hearts. The result can be more physical energy and vitality, mental clarity, energetic balance, and psychological wellbeing.
Led by Registered Nurse, Functional Nutrition Practitioner and Breathwork Facilitator Christina Tidwell, will demonstrate a 3-part breathwork technique, guide you through an active breathwork healing session and move you out of the mind and into the heart and a state of relaxed consciousness. We will journal about our ideal vision for our lives and uncover where things might feel stagnant or blocked and where we’re ready to release in order to step into our power. There will be a rest period where you will find rejuvenation and deep relaxation and then space to share or ask questions before we complete the session.
All levels of experience are welcome.
Who this is for
While Breathwork is great for everyone interested in personal growth, this specific theme and offering is geared towards those feeling self doubt, blocks around self worth, holding onto stuck emotions (anger, sadness), holding emotions for others, who wants to clear doubts, fears, old beliefs, other people’s opinions, old programming, and connect into (and really feel!) their unique power, and gifts. Entrepreneurs, creatives, mothers and others in a similar season will benefit from this session.
Christina Tidwell is a Registered Nurse, Functional Nutrition Practitioner and Breathwork Facilitator who supports those with autoimmunity, hormone imbalance and gut issues to take a mind, body and spirit approach to healing. Her work combines Functional Nutrition Coaching, guidance in unwinding limiting beliefs and patterns keeping you stuck, and breath and somatic exercises to ground and nurture your nervous system. She’s worked in the healing arts for 12+ years and over this time has honed the skills, depth and expertise it takes to get to the roots and support you in truly finding your own unique path to health.
