Beach Breathwork: Calling Ourselves Back

about this event

Almost one year ago to date, we dove into this topic, and it’s standing out to me again so I’m bringing it back.

Loving all sides of ourselves, loving ourselves even harder through the painful moments, learning how to embrace all sides of self, how to accept the oftentimes contradicting personality types, the conflicting emotions and the dueling desires, this is what it means to me to call ourselves back.

It is something we do time and time again. That is our work. It is the work of peeling back more of our layers. The work of uncovering a sense of self that we might have abandoned over the years. The work of discovering what portions of ourselves we pushed aside, how much of our light have we dimmed for someone else to shine, for something else to happen, for our own survival? This group is not about judging ourselves for what we haven’t done, or for berating ourselves for what we did do, but rather calling ourselves back-in. Claiming what part of us are we ready, wanting, to embrace again.

Now is the time to call your energy back-in. Now is the time to show-up for yourself. Now is the time take ownership of who you are, in this moment, and create space for more love, light and YOU in this world. Let’s gather together, be witnessed claiming what we are calling back in, and lay down and breathe into it with breathwork together.

We’ll breathe life force into our bodies, let go, let go of control, of our stories, and the incessant chatter in our minds and connect with our true, luminous and friendly nature. As always, all of this will be done next to the ocean, as we let her beauty humble us, and her strength inspire us.

What is Breathwork ::

Breathwork is a 2-step active breathing technique that moves stagnant energy in the body. This practice can leave you feeling cracked open and more ready to step into your life as your authentic, natural self. If you’re not familiar with Breathwork and interested in learning more, I’ve written a few articles about Breathwork here:
