April Session: Discover your Business’s Role in Evolving our Food System

about this event

Date: April 30th 2pm-5pm PT

Do you feel lost as to how to effectively run your business AND contribute to the evolution you feel is needed in our food system? Have you heard about regeneration but find it impossible to explain and maybe even harder to engage with?

You’re not alone.

We believe it’s imperative to go beyond incremental, isolated sustainability efforts and find ways for our businesses to play roles in evolving the systems of which they are a part. The faculty at reNourish Studio have spent their lives devoted to learning and applying living systems thinking to creatively and effectively evolve business strategy with a spectrum of businesses just like yours – from startups, to nonprofits, to major corporations.

Our work moves businesses from spending time, money and energy on small incremental efforts that don’t add up to focusing on real systemic evolution. We help businesses vision themselves as a part of a whole system, playing a critical role in the evolution of that system. Not only is this approach more effective on a fiscal, impact and community level but this approach is the ONLY way we are going to shift our food system from one of extraction and degeneration to one that is in service to our living world.

Join us for an online workshop to experience regeneration as a process and how a living systems approach could make a difference in your business strategy.

So what is regeneration really? To us regeneration is not something that can be certified or defined as a simple set of practices, not because we aren’t clear what regeneration is, because regeneration is a process not a static thing that can be labeled. Regeneration is a process of going back to the potential of a person, place, business, or system and seeing how it can evolve given the context of the present moment. If living systems are not constantly processing energy and in motion, they begin to die. In ecosystems, regeneration happens naturally through a process of disturbance and beings working toward a shared aim (such as evolving the health of the forest). In human systems we need to initiate regeneration consciously.
