An Introduction to Exploring Manhood with Men At Work Healing

about this event

Join us at the Soft Space by Mama Glow for an exploration of community healing for men.

In this program, via conversation and group exercises,  we will delve into the multifaceted concept of manhood, examining how societal expectations and individual choices intersect to shape our experiences. We’ll explore how society’s portrayal of masculinity influences how men perceive themselves and others, while also considering the distinction between healthy and unhealthy expressions of manhood. By promoting traits like empathy and safety, we aim to counterbalance harmful norms like aggression and emotional suppression. Ultimately, we’ll discuss the elements necessary for an empowering experience for men, emphasizing the importance of supportive environments that foster open communication, emotional authenticity, and the celebration of diverse expressions of masculinity, promoting holistic well-being and personal growth.

Men At Work Healing is a brotherhood where we explore and reimagine manhood through the lenses of Story, Purpose, Healing, and Play. This is where the divine masculine, awareness, and the process of self-realization are explored to become embodied.

This is a safe space for men, fathers-to-be, and fathers.
