Aroma Spa & Sport is a hybrid of Korean spa and urban resort. The huge complex features a four-story driving range, indoor swimming pool, full gym, karaoke, and all of the traditional Korean bathhouse elements: various saunas (steam, dry, clay, jade, and Korean medicinal healing stone rooms) and multiple temperature pools. The facility is entirely co-ed, so it’s great for groups.
The facility is far superior to the more-popular Century Spa IMO, with a larger gym, more extensive sauna options, better driving range, and better customer service. They have validated parking which is good for about five hours. There’s also complimentary entry included with spa services.
However, I go to Korean Spas mostly for the scrub and the contrast therapy. And I was underwhelmed by the wet rooms and specialty rooms. But this is probably because I was disappointed by the scrub I had, which wasn’t as thorough as I’m used to. And the women’s area has only a handful of shower stalls, so there was a wait to get clean. But given how much the facilities offer, it’s worth giving them another try (or three).
Also, be warned: the top level of the driving range allows smoking and alcohol, so avoid if you’re sensitive to either.
