Mount Batur is an active volcano located in the Kintamani district of Bali, Indonesia. The volcano stands (5,633 feet) above sea level and is one of Bali’s most iconic natural landmarks. The trek to the Volcano usually begins in the early hours of the morning to reach the summit in time for sunrise. The hike takes about two to three hours, depending on your fitness level, and involves ascending steep, rocky terrain.
