The Portal
Jewel has teamed up with the Bentonville museum of American Art, Crystal Bridges, and created a 200-piece aerial drone show called The Portal. It’s all choreographed and scored by Jewel, and apparently there’s a seven-foot hologram of her greeting you as you step into the whole experience right over the museum’s big pond. The piece is centered around Jewel’s idea of the Three Spheres of human existence: your inner world, the outer world, and the unseen world and the museum has said it’s an immersive vision of art-infused wellness. It’s on now till July 28.

White Buffalo
The gorgeous Magdelena Mag recently alerted me to the fact that a White Buffalo was born in Kansas on 4/25 ! An important piece of the Lakota people’s prophecy of the White Buffalo Woman is that the white buffalo calf is a very sacred omen of change. In reverence with all of creation, I do pray for our evolution and change in the direction of harmony with each other and our earth.

Ancient Garlic Honey
My mouth is watering just thinking about sharing this with you all. I recently discovered this delicious Ancient Garlic by Arcana Apothecary at the Farmer’s Market. The garlic is paper thin and steeped in honey. Put it on bread, roast veg, fish, chicken or… I’ve also had a spoonful on it’s own (once, twice, thrice), it’s that delicious.

As an Australian, I took healthcare for granted and only understood how privileged I was living there when I moved to the United States. Crystal Bowls With Aska Matsumiya
For all the music-makers out there who may not have their own crystal bowls, one of my close friends Aska Matsumiya created just the thing for you to tinker with. Aska partnered with Spitfire Audio and captured the sounds from a 7 piece set of crystal bowls with multiple beaters at London’s Hackney Round Chapel, all at a frequency of 432 Hz.
