Topanga and Lands beyond!

We are excited to announce that we have officially launched our very first “Topanga Mushroom Camp” immersion! On Saturday January 13th and Sunday January 14th! There will be early bird specials available for ticket prices until Jan 1st, so register asap to save on this truly unique mushroom experience! And yes, this event makes for a fun and interesting holiday gift experience for your friends, loved ones and family, as well as for yourself!

This is a 2 day immersion and we encourage attendees to comit to both days to get the most out of this educatonal and immersive experience, as well as to save $! However, attendees may also purchase single day tickets for either Saturday Jan 13 or Sun Jan 14! Each day will require approximately 5 hours of group time together.

Day 1: Sat Jan 13

9:30 AM we kick the mushroom camp off with a group meet up for a wild mushroom tour on the land!

The tour will be guided by Topanga local and wild mushroom expert Brando Farr IG @farrandwild

During this tour we will observe and discuss the local biodiversity of the fungi kingdom, and talk about all things fungi! 

By 12 PM or before, we break as a group for lunch back at our local venue. Each attendee will be responsible for bringing a sack lunch or sufficient snacks for the day. There will also be cafes and markets close by, but please come prepared so we may start on time and run smoothly! 

By 12:30 PM we start our first workshop together, which will be led by Paula Peng LAmushCo!

Paula will mentor and guide the group during a very special DIY oyster mushroom growing workshop! Each attendee will learn how to prep and assemble their own mushroom grow bag to bring home! 

Brando will be walking around the room passing out frothy adaptogenic mushroom cacao elixers!

We close the group by 3pm or earlier!

Day 2: Sun Jan 14

11 AM we start the day with our second workshop, at our local Topanga venue.

Our friend Allie Rootedbotanics.com will begin with a brief intro into the world of plant and mushroom based dyes!

This will be a wild mushroom-based dyers workshop, where we will learn as a group to render colors like red, magenta, greens and golds, from various wild mushroom species. We will be working with silk, and each attendee will be provided with their own silk scarf to dye with!

2 PM we finish our time together with a wild mushroom themed gourmet meal which chef Brando has prepared for us from 2-4 PM!

Once attendee’s purchase tickets, they will receive an email updating them with more info regarding our program schedule, mushroom meal menu, venue location and address etc!
