Embodied Magic: A Somatic Experience and Book Release Celebration

about this event

Somatic Experience & Book Release Celebration

Enter into the world of somatic experiences, where healing unfolds through the powerful mind-body connection within a supportive community. You’re warmly welcomed to explore an intimate journey into the enchanting landscapes held within your body, surrounded by a circle of safety and connection. Join us for an evening filled with celebration, joy, friendship, community, and the magic of co-creation.

Experience a transformative guided somatic movement meditation led by Lumalia, a group somatic experience facilitator and debut author, whose insights will guide you through a profound exploration of your body’s wisdom. Following this, surrender to the beats and rhythms of a DJ request dance hour with the talented DJ Cosmo. Immerse yourself in the pulsating energy of the music, letting it move you freely.

Indulge in elixirs meticulously curated to awaken the untamed spirit within you. This night is an invitation to play, to rediscover the marvelously stunning essence of being alive. Save your spot for the guided movement meditation class, as Lumalia’s classes have a history of selling out.

The event on January 25 is not only a celebration of the beauty of being alive but also a significant part of Lumalia’s book release, ‘Blooming Upside Down: A Memoir on Healing from the Incurable.’ Join us for an unforgettable blend of movement, music, and magic.

About Lumalia

Hi there, I’m Lumalia, a connection architect and author of Blooming Upside Down. I’m dedicated to exploring the beauty of human existence through creative expression, embodiment, and writing. At Celebrate Again, my roles encompass being a published author, a certified yoga and movement meditation teacher (with a 200-hour Yoga Alliance and Kindrêd facilitator certification), a Yoga Nidra accredited instructor, and an internationally published photographer.

My journey involved profound healing from chronic illnesses that had plagued me for a decade, leaving me disabled for most of my twenties. I’ve also navigated near-death experiences and the complexities of PTSD. Through these challenges, I’ve understood that we all possess the power to be creators of our own lives. Where we direct our attention, our energy follows. Drawing from my training and life experiences, I’m passionate about guiding groups to tap into the deep wisdom within themselves. I use playful and imaginative approaches to help individuals explore their subconscious while emphasizing the power of human connection to validate this inner journey. I’m thrilled to have you join us on this adventure!

About Blooming Upside Down

Blooming Upside Down: a compelling memoir exploring healing, resilience, and self-discovery. Through poetic storytelling, it celebrates the human spirit’s capacity to bloom amidst adversity, inspiring personal growth.

Like in life, I’ve always done things differently, and this book launch party will be similar. Instead of me reading any stories, I’m inviting you to step into a journey in and in the community. Together, we’ll tap into the themes of the book and experience the magic we contain with us. It’s always a yes away. I cannot wait to be with you in person.

The book will be available for signing and purchasing at the event. Blooming Upside Down can be purchased here.
