Spa LA is an intimate and modern women-only Korean spa. While smaller, the facilities include an exceptional Hinoki dry sauna – crafted from Japanese cypress known for its soothing aromatherapy properties said to help with ADHD – and a clay ball room, which is one of my favorite offerings at Korean spas. It also has a Herbal Steam Sauna, Infrared Healing Room, Himalayan Salt Room, and Jade Room.
One of Spa LA’s signature offerings is its V-steam treatment ($50 when added to any service, or $85 as a standalone treatment including entry). But be warned: you’ll be steaming your “V” in a communal room. It’s like sitting on a toilet in a bathroom without stalls.
Spa LA also tends to be quieter than many other women-only K-Spas,) so I recommend this spa if you want to go during a weekend or late afternoon. There is no restaurant on site but it’s located close to many outstanding Korean restaurants.
