Vishoka Meditation Workshop

about this event

Take a step closer to recognizing the beauty of your true state of being. Realize that you are happy and can experience joy. Dive deep into dynamic stillness in a class based on the Himalayan tradition of the 61 points exercise (shava yatra) and Vishoka Meditation.

The workshop will begin with a some simple asana to prepare the body for stillness and continue through a sequential relaxation, pranayama and meditation practice.

No yoga experience is necessary although comfort in silence and stillness is helpful. This is a very quiet experience to lead you into a deep state of conscious relaxation.

Victoria considers teaching to be an art form, which by necessity must continually evolve to meet the demands of the modern day seeker. Victoria’s class style stems from Hatha Yoga principles of pranic flow (energy movement in the body) and, culminates in the unified state of yoga ‘peaceful body/ peaceful mind’.

She is a teacher of Vishoka Meditation through the Himalayan Institute program, and is a dedicated guide for yoga nidra, and has voiced several guided meditations for The Smithsonian Institute online and for the ‘Yoga Wake-Up’ app.

Victoria leads international and national retreats as well as coordinating and leading yoga teacher trainings.
