Spirit & Form Yoga Collective is hosting a day of FREE workshops to launch their new online community this Sunday from 9:00AM to 1:15PM. Explore multidisciplinary classes from physical yoga to kriyas and meditation all culminating with a beautiful and grounding Sound Bath by the amazingly talented Rita Oliviera-Turner. 9:00AM-10:15AM PST – SPIRIT & FORM YOGA (75 MIN) W/ DUCKY PUNCH

Our signature class! A multi-disciplinary practice and doorway to the roots and heart of yoga. Expect flow, long holds, yin, breath work, and more! At Spirit & Form we use asana or postures as a stepping stone into the higher limbs of yoga to experience life on a deeper and more connected level. 

10:30AM-11:15AM PST – KRIYA & KIRTAN (45 MIN) W/ DUCKY PUNCH, ADAM GERICKE

Help us celebrate the opening of Spirit & Form with this special combo. A kriya is a set of exercises, breathing techniques, and sound (mantras or music) to bring about a certain outcome or effect. Ducky will lead us through a kriya to set us on a positive path forward, and Adam will lead kirtan, or chanting with live music. This is how yogi’s party!

11:30AM-12:30PM PST – BHAKTI SLOW FLOW (60 MIN) W/ ADAM GERICKE

Move lightly and slowly into a deep physical practice accompanied by elements of bhakti yoga. Bhakti is the yoga of love or devotion, and when partnered with a slow flow it creates a joyful and peaceful baseline for the physical practice to unfold. This practice is accompanied by live music.

12:45PM-1:15PM PST – SOUND BATH (30 MIN) W/ RITA OLIVIERA-TURNER

This sound bath is all about relaxing and unwinding the mind through sound healing therapy. Rita has a background in classical music, and is now sharing her sound healing gifts with us. She offers a sound journey with set frequencies that are proven to promote relaxation and better focus for our pursuits.

We offer meditation and movement classes, breathwork or pranayama, yoga therapy and restorative yoga. A well balanced schedule for a well balanced yogi!

Spirit & Form isn’t a single lineage based yoga studio, but sees the benefit in searching out many teachings and many teachers. You will find the wisdom and inspiration of Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, and Kriya Yoga influenced by western science and a deep reverence for anatomical variation. These practices might be from different times, places, and teacher; but here at Spirit & Form we acknowledge they are all pointing to the same thing, the experience of spirit through form.
