Join Nico Georis and Kassia Meador in a guided journey into the healing properties of sound and the ways in which plants sense and respond to music. Topics will include sound as vibrational medicine and a method of biocommunication and an exploration of the sentient nature of plants. Afterwards, Nico and Kassia will lead a plant music meditation and sound bath.

Kassia Meador is a pro surfer, environmental and community activist, photographer, designer and business owner, musician and sound healer. She is constantly exploring new projects and adventures, taking time to collaborate with others who inspire her. Meador facilitates public and private sound healing utilizing a myriad of instruments including crystal bowls, far infared heat, tuning forks, and gongs. She brings a new and refreshing approach to vibrational medicine and sound healing, surfing the wave of sonic evolution, bridging ancient wisdom with modern techniques.

Nico Georis is a musician in Big Sur, California. His music spans solo piano to cosmic synth, sound collage to interspecies collaborations involving plant generated music. He is also the founding member of rock ‘n’ roll community ensemble Sky Country, and plays in the band Platoon with guitarist Matt Baldwin. 2019 finds Nico performing new piano and synthesizer pieces based on evolving cloud formations. Recent shows have also been delving deeper into improvised duets with plants.
