This class is focused on the compassionate principles of loving-kindness meditation, or metta. In this practice, the qualities of kindness and compassion are cultivated and directed toward a range of people in one’s life through a sequence of well-wishes. This visualization practice aims to infuse the presence of the heart into interpersonal dynamics and eventually, expand each person’s capacity to extend compassion to all beings everywhere.
