Goddess Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is inspired by the Taoist philosophy of yin and yang. Yin is the feminine, meditative, nurturing approach. 

The three principles are:

  1. We come to an appropriate resistance and allow our breath + gravity to sink us deeper into our stretch.
  2. We embrace the stillness and observe any sensations that arise in the mind and body.
  3. We hold the postures for a longer period of time (1-5 minutes).

Yin Yoga aids with being at one with everything and in harmony with your own nature. Every week we draw on a new goddess and channel her energy into our practice.
