Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn Ceremony + Astrology + Sound Healing

about this event

This weekend is 4th of July, a celebration for our country. Current events feel like we’re living through another American revolution. The weekends lunar eclipse and full moon lining up on the weekend of independence is hardly a coincidence at all.

Hard questions we certainly don’t want to face have unveiled. Behind the veil, we see the truth of our patterns as we strive consciously for a future that is authentically kind and equal. This means facing the ugliness in all of us as a whole, looking at what concepts and patterns we need to knock down, and harvesting those trees that bear fruits of love.

The lunar eclipse in Capricorn signifies the end of our summer eclipse season. This eclipse asks us to reflect back on the last 16 months. What lessons have you learned? How have you changed? The biggest question is what are you doing to take take care of yourself? This question has a lot to do with the Cancer season. Cancer is the archetype of the mother. It is all about our emotional body, nurturing, and self-care. We currently have the Sun and Mercury retrograde in the sign of Cancer. This is guiding us to focus on our internal monologue. Pluto, Jupiter, and the Moon will be in Capricorn. Capricorn is the sign of the Father. These planets which are also retrograde are telling us to transform and evolve the ideas we have around structure, responsibility and ultimately the legacy we are going to leave behind. This eclipse will set the tone for the next 6 months.
