A four week course. Sundays; Nov. 20 and Dec 4, 11 & 18, 2022; 1-4 pm EST/EDT  

There are many aspects to doing mediumship. 

Quality evidence is certainly one of the most important aspects. However, there are others we should consider when developing our skills–so the delivery of the evidence is sincere and professional.  

To develop as a medium, we must also develop ourselves. It’s not just the technical aspects of how, when, where and why we connect with spirit, it is a personal journey that unfolds. The more we put into our development personally and technically the deeper and stronger our connections become.  

This course will be focused on practical exercises to improve, strengthen, and develop advanced evidential mediumship, while incorporating good practices, such as: understanding the power, how to cultivate it and build it within you, how to deliver information, keeping centered during emotional communications, and exploring the depth of what you are receiving. During this course you may be asked to work in pairs in breakout rooms.  

The course sessions will feature a combination of:  

~ Short talks to facilitate better understanding,

~ Guided and/or group work exercises,

~ Time for reflection and feedback,

~ Q & A.

The intention is to help you develop your mediumship abilities, while expanding your spiritual progress.  

Penny is a firm believer that the more we learn about ourselves spiritually, the stronger our abilities as a medium become. As she points out: “Being a medium is a huge responsibility that should not be taken lightly, especially as many people that seek out our abilities can be vulnerable or impressionable. This means we need to be professional, ethical, and morally sound in all that we do. Our personal human nature, spirituality, and technical abilities, all need to be worked on in order to deepen our compassion and empathy to be a balanced conduit between this world and spirit.”  

Penny Hayward is an International Medium, Inspirer and Mentor. Born in Australia, she relocated to England in 1999 and is now based in the north of the UK.  

Penny became a member of the Spiritualists’ National Union in 2010 and holds a Diploma (DSNU) in Mediumship and Teaching. In 2018 she was approved as a Tutor (Instructor) at the prestigious Arthur Findlay College in the UK, and has supported ARE of NY as an instructor for 2 years now.  

Penny came to understand that she is a medium and psychic in her early 30s, soon after arriving to the UK. The desire to further develop her psychic and mediumistic abilities led Penny to Spiritualism, which gave her answers to some of her big questions and enabled her to understand that there was more to her than she had imagined.  

Knowing that life continues in the spirit world healed Penny and allowed her to go beyond the limitations she had put on herself. Part of Penny’s soul’s calling in this world has always been about empowering others. This course is open to all who feel drawn to it. However, it is an advantage if you can already connect with spirit and wish to improve your evidence and etiquette in order to deliver a more professional reading. It is an ideal opportunity to advance both your mediumship and spirituality.
