Chaga has been used by many cultures such as those in the Baltic as folk medicine for gastric problems, cancer, heart and liver issues, among many more ailments. Chaga is extremely powerful because it contains within it, the actual life force of trees the most powerful living beings on this Earth, with some living up to 10,000 years. Many of the The First Nations also used Chaga in smoking pipe ceremonies using the sweet smelling aroma as a form of moxibustion to stimulate the body's energy meridians, purifying the mind, body, and spirit. This is but a few many uses of Chaga that we will go over and encounter in ceremony.
Under the Pink Full Moon we will experience why Chaga is known as the “The Gift of the Gods” and the “Mushroom of Immortality”. Join William Francis of Wilderness Yard and Abhaijot Kaur, KRI,-in ceremony with this restorative medicinal superfood. Following the ceremony we will use breathwork to open the meridians and allow the Chaga to fully move through body and release any blockages ending with a celestial sound bath. We will create our own dual extracted Chaga tincture from organic locally sourced Chaga from the Catskills, NY, and leave with Chaga to create your own medicinal brew at home.

For the past 10 years, William Francis has been harvesting and making medicine with Chaga;
All gathered mindfully and locally in the Catskill Mountains.
William Francis was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Rockaway Beach, Queens. Infatuated
with the power and beauty of our natural world, he began studying medicinal plants. It did not
take long for this passion to inspire and enable him to travel all over the world, working with
herbalists and healers. After being diagnosed with Lymes disease, William Francis was set on a
path deeper into his studies to find remedy for its suffering. This path led him to the mushroom
kingdom where he found the diamond of the forest.. Chaga! William Francis is truly grateful for
this medicine and loves being able to share its goodness with those willing to learn.
