After a long day of work, the last thing that most of us want to do is go to a networking event where you make small talk and pitch yourself to strangers. What if there was a space that you could still connect in an authentic way, learning about others, while also growing your business?
The Ampersand Dinner is uniquely created to allow people to participate in meaningful conversation over a shared meal without the confines of their profession. February's theme is all about Wellness. We have partnered with I AM WELL COMMUNITY to bring you this event.
I Am Well Community is a mindfulness and holistic wellness community for female creatives, providing you with the tools to help heal anxiety and burnout while building a foundation of health from which you can thrive.
What can I expect at the dinner?
Our evening will start with a 20 minute gentle yoga practice and meditative breathwork session, led by yoga instructor Safiya Bouhouch of I Am Well. This is a chance to unwind after the work day, focusing on connecting back to our bodies and grounding down after a day of being in our heads. After we've stretched and relaxed, you'll be invited to rehydrate at our Kombucha Bar, where you can connect with other attendees.
The conversations will continue over a beautiful sit-down dinner, where we will be enjoying a vegan meal while engaging in our signature Ampersand questions to help get the discussion flowing. These questions will revolve around the topic of Wellness, and how we relate to our health and well-being. Please be willing to participate in vulnerable conversations and come without judgement. It’s hard to let down barriers, but this is a brave space to do so.
By the end of the night you’ll get the chance to discover more about your dining companions and go home with a roster of connections, both email and social media, to connect with in the future.
